It is not just redefining but revealing
the underside of the true meaning
of the revisionist’s distorted defining of:

colonialism
colonization
colony
and colonist

within their vocabulary of deceit to
falsely characterized, romanticize
the etymology of their
faithful fathering and fostering of freedom,
equality and democracy for all men, all women

a lexicon of lies,
to denote humanization to hide dehumanization,
colonial N-words to hide the lies of thinking, believing
wanting, needing to really say, mean, colored;
meant to keep colored colorized and colonized

a lexicon of lies to hide true colonial intent:

colonialism – the acquiring, exploiting,
expanding, maintaining of colonies

colonization- the act of depriving, oppressing,
enslaving, torturing, maiming, murdering;

colony – the place of grim and grievous atrocities

colonist – those loyalist who committed them

a lexicon of lies, one letter short of color
drudged from an inventory of sanitized morphemes
to hide the horrors of global colonial holocaust
in savage pursuit of rape of foreign lands
and people of rights and resources

We must not just redefine but reveal
the lexicon of lies colorizing colonial
revisionist’s twisted etymology of
